THE STORY BEHIND LARRIKIN
Proudly crafted in Kentucky.Where It All Began
At Larrikin, we’re not here to spin yarns about bourbon dating back to the Pilgrims. Our focus is simpler than that: what kind of Kentucky whiskey do we want in our glass?
From the beginning, our goal has been to craft extraordinary Kentucky whiskies that we’re proud to pour for friends and share with good company. Along the way, we realized something: a little Aussie cheek pairs surprisingly well with America’s native spirit.
So we built Larrikin on that idea - blending Kentucky tradition with a touch of pluck, irreverence, and character.
Here’s to great bourbon, good mates, and creating something truly special.
THE LARRIKIN SPIRIT
A larrikin is someone with a rebellious spirit — someone who challenges convention while staying true to who they are.
That spirit is at the heart of everything we do. From the way we craft our bourbon to the way we approach tradition, Larrikin is about honoring Kentucky heritage while never being afraid to stand apart.
It’s whiskey with character (and a little irreverence).
MEET THE FOUNDER
GREG KEELEY
LCDR, USN (Ret.), Founder, Larrikin Bourbon Co.
Greg Keeley’s path to bourbon has been anything but ordinary. Raised in Australia, his career took him from vineyard work down under to national security and military service, including commissions in both the United States Navy and the Royal Australian Navy.
After years of service around the world, Greg found himself drawn to a different kind of craft — one rooted in patience, precision, and tradition. That journey ultimately led him to Kentucky, where he founded Larrikin Bourbon Co. with a simple goal: create exceptional bourbon with character.
Today, Greg brings that same spirit to every barrel at Larrikin — blending Kentucky heritage with a bold, slightly rebellious edge inspired by his Australian roots.

Meet the
Real Bosses
Every good distillery needs someone keeping an eye on things.
Around Larrikin, that job belongs to Betsy and Raylan — our unofficial Chief of Morale and Head of Security.
You’ll usually find them supervising the tasting room, greeting visitors, or making sure the team never takes itself too seriously. They take their roles seriously, especially when snacks are involved.
At the end of the day, good bourbon is best enjoyed the same way they approach life — with good company and a little bit of mischief.

ENOUGH ABOUT US…
We could go on about barrels, tradition, and the finer points of Kentucky whiskey.
But the truth is, bourbon is meant to be experienced, not explained.
So enough about us — pour yourself a glass and see what Larrikin is all about.
